Redington Shores

Redington Shores

Starting with the sun peeking over the Boca Ciega Bay in the Gulf of Mexico, to the sun finally resting as a golden back drop to your special day, the town of Redington Shores invites visitors to enjoy its pristine, white beaches, natural beauty, and quiet, soothing relaxation. Emerald green waters combined with the lighting of a sunset makes for ideal ambiance in photos.

Redington Shores is a barrier island north of Treasure Island. Visitors to Redington Beach like to escape the busier beaches to the south and north to relax in this mostly residential community of retirees. Fewer tourists means a more intimate feel to your ceremony. Redington Shores spans 220 acres- and is perfect for that laid back “Island Time” feel.  Made mostly of beach houses, cottages, and quiet streets, this destination is great for a traditional sunset wedding, with several parks and other appealing venues for a great reception! Our Beach Walk Wedding package would be a perfect pairing for this location! Your choices of many combinations of flowered urns or baskets and aisles, Customized Ceremony, Unity Sand Ceremony…. and that's just the beginning of what this package includes.

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married on the beach, under a customized arch, decorated with your choice of flowers, it’s at your fingertips! You’ll make the most beautiful of memories choosing this simple, yet popular and elegant package, that includes a professional wedding officiate, and customized ceremony – traditional, spiritual, or non-religious.

Both the Main Beach area and Constitution Park offers couples white-sand beaches, sparkling blue and emerald waters, and stunning sunsets. The Constitution Park site has a pavilion that serves as an excellent reception site. Neither of these locations require permit or travel fees, and both have played host to numerous couples celebrating their big day surrounded by the beauty of the Gulf, family, and friends.

Midway between Clearwater to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south, Redington Shores is approximately 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport for your convenience.

Shelling is fun along the beaches in the Gulf of Mexico; and couples enjoy the romantic beach walks and collecting the colorful candy like gems that await after high tide. Some 2,500 people call Redington Shores home. However, several thousand more spend all or part of the winter here; some for a few days, others for several months. Home may be a beachfront condominium, a beach house, a cottage, an apartment, or maybe a home on a quiet street. AirBnB is a convenient and cost-efficient option for these reasons if you choose to have an economical stay while you enjoy the numerous activities available.

Fun activities should you choose to honeymoon on this quaint barrier reef island include: Parasailing, jet ski rentals, aqua bikes, and paddle boats are just some of the beach activities you can enjoy. The Gulf Beaches are world famous for their fabulous sunsets and have consistently been voted by several bridal magazines as an award- winning choice since 2010!
